Instructor Bios:
Kayla Rothbart (she/her) received her Master's in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2012, as well as her Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology from Saint Francis University in 2011. Serving as the Associate Director of Programs & Wellness at MIT Recreation for four years, Kayla is the Fitness Director and leads the departments community programing and event efforts. Her fitness career started as personal trainer, pilates instructor, CrossFit instructor and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach.
Luke Olivier (he/him) is a Personal Trainer certified with the American College of Sports Medicine and a Stretching and Flexibility Coach wihth the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He finds great fulfillment in working with clients, helping program them toward their particular needs and goals. Luke is fascinated with research on fitness and strength sport, and its myriad connections with health, wellness, and wholeness. He is currently running the Personal Training Program at MIT Recreation.
